'Homesick' One Direction rack up £14,000 phone bill calling home and texting and Tweeting on tour
1D miss their friends and family when they're away!!
aww how sweet! In their recent visit to North America, Australia and New Zealand, the boys got in trouble for running up a massive £14,000 phone bill contacting people back home in the UK!
'They're also encouraged to Tweet to keep them interacting with fans but Niall and Liam in particular got really homesick during their travels and regularly called home!
Luckily for 1D, simon cowell let them off and paid the bill himself as a way of saying thanks for their year of incredible success! (hes not that bad after all!)
'When they found out about the bills, the guys were utterly stunned and slightly devastated thinking they'd have to pay it out themselves!
